41-year-old British heavyweight Derek Chisora revealed that he turned down an offer to face 20-year-old fellow countryman Moses Itauma in what would have been his 50th professional bout.
“They offered me a fight with Moses Itauma in Saudi Arabia. I asked, ‘How much are you paying?’ They said, ‘Two million.’ I said, ‘No, I’m good,’” Chisora said.
Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) and Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) will both fight on the same card on December 13 in Manchester, United Kingdom. The event is expected to mark Chisora’s farewell appearance in the ring.
