Chávez Jr. Will Return to the Ring on January 24

Former world champion Julio César Chávez Jr., now 39, will fight on January 24 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. His opponent will be Argentine boxer Ángel Julián Sacco.

In June, Julio César Chávez Jr. (54-7-1, 34 KOs) lost to Jake Paul by unanimous decision.

In August, Chávez was detained in Los Angeles and deported to Mexico, where he is now awaiting trial over alleged cartel connections.

Ángel Julián Sacco (10-1-1, 4 KOs) last fought in October 2023, when he defeated Sergio Carabajal by unanimous decision.
