Insider: Berlanga and Resendiz May Meet on Ryan–Barrios Undercard

Insider Julius Julianis has reported that the WBA Interim Super Middleweight champion Armando Resendiz may face American Edgar Berlanga on the undercard of the showdown between Mario Barrios and Ryan Garcia.

The same event could also feature the long-awaited clash between Gary Antuanne Russell (18-1, 17 KOs) and Andy Hiraoka (24-0, 19 KOs). This bout was originally set for the Gervonta Davis vs. Jake Paul bill before that event was cancelled.

The meeting between Ryan Garcia and Mario Barrios is tentatively planned for February 21, though an official announcement from the promoters is still pending. In addition to these pairings, Lester Martinez (19-0-1, 16 KOs) is also expected to compete on the card, though his opponent has not yet been named.
