Benavidez Sr. Meets Turki: “Big Plans”

Jose Benavidez Sr., father of interim WBC Light Heavyweight champion David Benavidez, posted a photo on Instagram with Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia.

“Big plans for the future,” Benavidez wrote.

Earlier, Turki questioned whether David Benavidez could make weight for a potential fight against undisputed Super Middleweight champion Terence Crawford. Crawford’s trainer, Brian McIntyre, later responded to that idea.
