Arrest Warrant Issued for Gervonta Davis

The publication ESPN reported that the police have issued an arrest warrant for WBA Lightweight champion Gervonta Davis. It concerns a domestic violence case.

Miami Gardens Police Department representative Emmanuel Jeanty reported that law enforcement officers are collaborating with the U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task force with the aim of establishing Davis’s whereabouts.

The warrant was issued on several counts of charges. Among them: false imprisonment, battery, and attempted kidnapping.

In October 2025, a lawsuit was filed against Davis regarding violence against women. He was detained in another domestic violence case, however, at that time the charges were dropped due to the victim's refusal to cooperate with the investigation.
