“I Want Another Chance.” Andy Ruiz Talks About Trilogy With Joshua

36-year-old former Heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz has spoken about the possibility of a third fight against Anthony Joshua.

“I would really like to do it. I think that would be the first fight I truly want to take part in, because, you know, there’s still bad blood between us — especially after my loss in Saudi Arabia. I want revenge.

I want another chance against him. We could have a trilogy. This is something I’ve also discussed with Eddie Hearn. But first, I need to get back to action, have a few fights, and start calling out some other big names,” Ruiz said.

In June 2019, Andy Ruiz (35-2-1, 22 KOs) defeated Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) by technical knockout in the 7th round.

In the rematch, which took place in December of the same year, Joshua won by unanimous decision.
