Trainer of Kabayel: “Klitschko could have at least congratulated Agit”

Head coach of WBC interim heavyweight champion Agit Kabayel, Şükrü Aksu, was displeased that former unified heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko did not congratulate his fighter on winning the interim title.

“He didn’t even congratulate him. Isn’t that sad? He just walked past us. He made his fortune thanks to boxing in Germany. He could have at least said: ‘Man, you boxed well, congratulations.’ But he didn’t.

Yet suddenly, eight weeks later, fighting Agit for millions becomes interesting,” Aksu said.

Kabayel (26-0, 18 KO) will return to the ring on January 10 in Germany against Poland’s Damian Knyba.
