Shakur Stevenson Assesses Crawford's Chances Against Canelo

WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson (22–0, 10 KOs) recently evaluated the prospects of WBA junior middleweight champion Terence Crawford (41–0, 31 KOs) potentially facing unified super middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (62–2–2, 39 KOs).

“I think this is very difficult. Canelo has boxing intelligence, he has size, and possibly the power. It’s a very tough fight, but if anyone can do it, it’s Terence Crawford,” Stevenson remarked in an interview with Boxing News.

Recently, Turki Alalshikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with the fighters, and soon after there were reports that Crawford and Canelo have agreed to a bout.
