Frank Warren Names Likely Opponent for Usyk

Frank Warren, founder and head of Queensberry Promotions, revealed that he recently spoke with undefeated heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23–0, 14 KOs). According to Warren, the Ukrainian fighter plans to face the winner of the upcoming clash between IBF titleholder Daniel Dubois (22–2, 21 KOs) and WBO interim champion Joseph Parker (35–3, 23 KOs).

“Over the weekend, Alexander told me he will fight the winner of the Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker bout, aiming to become the undisputed heavyweight champion for the second time,” Warren stated.

The highly anticipated fight between Dubois and Parker is scheduled for February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On December 21, Oleksandr Usyk won a unanimous decision over Tyson Fury, successfully defending his titles. Shortly thereafter, Fury announced his retirement from professional boxing.
