Terence Crawford announces his retirement

The only undisputed world champion in three weight classes in the four-belt era, Terence Crawford, has announced his retirement from professional boxing. The American broke the news on his social media.

“Walking away as a great with nothing else left to prove” Crawford wrote.

Crawford had his last fight on September 13 against Mexico’s Saul “Canelo” Álvarez. “Bud” moved up two weight classes and won by unanimous decision.

The American finishes his career with a record of 42 wins, 31 of them by knockout, and no defeats.
