Manny Pacquiao, the 46-year-old former world champion in eight weight classes, has confirmed that a showdown with WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis is something he’s genuinely interested in — just as some members of his team have previously suggested.

“It’s interesting to me. It really is.

But let’s take care of this fight first, because Barrios is a taller champion. I have a lot to do in camp,” Pacquiao told Fight Hub TV.

Pacquiao is set to face Mario Barrios on July 19 in Las Vegas, USA.
