Canelo vs. Crawford to Be Broadcast on Netflix

On September 13 in Las Vegas, USA, the highly anticipated showdown between Mexico’s Saul Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs) and American Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) will take place, with the undisputed super middleweight world title at stake.

It was recently revealed that the official broadcaster of the boxing event will be the streaming platform Netflix.

In November, Netflix aired its first live boxing match, marking the return of 58-year-old Mike Tyson to the ring in an official bout for the first time since June 2005, facing off against Jake Paul.

Later, the company released viewership figures for the event, reporting that 60 million households worldwide tuned in to watch the show live, with peak viewership reaching 65 million. This milestone cemented the fight’s status as one of the most-watched boxing events of 2024.
