Viktor Postol to Return to the Ring on January 25

Former junior welterweight world champion, Ukrainian Viktor Postol (31–5, 12 KOs), will face Argentina’s Fernando Saucedo (64–10–3, 10 KOs) in his next bout.

The fight is set for January 25 at the Sports Palace in Kyiv, Ukraine, as part of the undercard for the clash between Aram Faniian and Nicolas Jara.

Viktor Postol was last seen in the ring in July 2023, when he suffered a seventh-round TKO loss to Elvis Rodriguez, marking his third consecutive defeat.

Fernando Saucedo, on the other hand, is coming off just a 15-day break—on January 10, he secured a unanimous decision victory over Sergio Quintara.

The main goal of the evening is to raise funds to assist veterans of the Russo-Ukrainian War—who are also participating in the boxing show—and to support charitable organizations in their efforts to return children who are illegally detained in Russia and in temporarily occupied territories.
