Vergil Ortiz to Face Erickson Lubin

According to sources cited by The Ring, interim WBC Super Welterweight champion Vergil Ortiz will face Erickson Lubin in his next bout.

The fight is scheduled for October 18 in the United States, with the exact venue yet to be announced.

Ortiz (23-0, 21 KOs) defeated Israil Madrimov by decision in his most recent outing, while Lubin (27-2, 19 KOs) stopped Ardreal Holmes via technical knockout in the spring of 2025.
