Turki: “I’d Like to See Goodman More Often at Future Boxing Events”

Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh praised the performance of Australian boxer Sam Goodman in his fight against Britain’s WBA Featherweight Champion Nick Ball.

“I believe Sam Goodman showed himself very well in the fight with Nick Ball. He demonstrated excellent skill, and the rounds were very close. I would like to see him more often at future boxing events from Riyadh Season and The Ring Magazine,” wrote Turki Alalshikh.

As a reminder, on August 16, Nick Ball (23-0-1, 13 KOs) defeated Sam Goodman (20-1, 8 KOs) by unanimous decision. The judges’ scores were 118-110, 117-111, and 115-113 in Ball’s favor. This was the first loss of Goodman’s career.
