Trainer Tony Sims Reveals Who Could Win a Dubois vs. Fury Fight

British trainer Tony Sims has explained why he believes former IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois could defeat former unified world champion Tyson Fury.

“I think Daniel can beat anyone. You know, his power is phenomenal. We all know that. And in my opinion, in the heavyweight division right now, anyone can beat anyone.

Daniel is capable of beating Tyson Fury or anyone else he steps into the ring with. So, it will be an interesting year to see who fights whom. But yes, Daniel is coming back tomorrow and heading straight to training camp tomorrow,” Sims shared.

Daniel Dubois hasn’t fought since July 2025, when he was knocked out by Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch at Wembley Stadium for the undisputed title. Following that loss, Dubois parted ways with trainer Don Charles and joined Tony Sims' gym. He has since stated that his next fight won't be a "tune-up"—he intends to jump straight back into a matchup against a major name.
