Tony Bellew names favourite in Itauma–Whyte fight

Former world champion and now boxing pundit Tony Bellew shared his expectations for the Heavyweight clash between Britons Dillian Whyte and Moses Itauma.

I think the fight will end within four rounds. I don’t know why I think so, as Dillian hasn’t really shown that… well, there were some signs. The fight with Tetteh wasn’t very good. A man is judged by his last fight, and that’s what you have to go by.

I believe Dillian Whyte is a very good fighter and was a force to be reckoned with in the Heavyweight division, but every fighter has their time, and I think his time has passed, which I’m sad about. It’s unfortunate because he has beaten some very strong opponents and taken part in tough fights, but now he shows that those battles have left their mark,” Bellew told iFL TV.

The bout between Dillian Whyte (31-3, 21 KOs) and Moses Itauma (12-0, 10 KOs) will take place on August 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
