Official: Sunny Edwards to Face Olympic Champion

Matchroom Boxing has officially announced the next fight for former world champion, British boxer Sunny Edwards (21-1, 4 KOs). His opponent will be the 2020 Olympic champion, fellow Briton Galal Yafai (7-0, 5 KOs).

The bout is scheduled for November 30 in Birmingham, UK.

This will be Edwards' second fight since his loss to Jesse Rodriguez at the end of 2023. In his last bout, Sunny won a technical decision over Adrian Curiel. Yafai, on the other hand, knocked out Agustín Gauto in the 8th round of his previous fight.
