Subriel Matias vs. Dalton Smith: Weigh-In Results

The final weigh-in ceremony has concluded ahead of the WBC super lightweight world title bout. Puerto Rico's Subriel Matias will defend his belt against Britain’s WBC Silver champion Dalton Smith on January 10 in the USA.

Subriel Matias (23-2, 22 KOs) weighed in at 63.5 kg (140 lbs). Dalton Smith (18-0, 13 KOs) tipped the scales at 63.3 kg (139.6 lbs).

The matchup was previously at risk of cancellation following a positive drug test from the champion. However, it was later confirmed that his levels were "significantly below the permissible limit," allowing the fight to proceed at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
