Junto Nakatani’s “goal list” for 2026: the boxer names two opponents

Japanese boxer Junto Nakatani has revealed his “goal list” for 2026.

“Naoya Inoue. Jesse Rodriguez.

A third? I don’t know,” Nakatani said.

Earlier, Jesse Rodriguez said they had already agreed to fight Nakatani. However, Nakatani later moved up in weight in order to pursue a bout with Inoue. A potential fight with Naoya could take place at the beginning of 2026 if both men win their next bouts.

Both Nakatani and Inoue are set to fight on December 27 at an event in Riyadh.
