Sheeraz Names Two Most Desired Opponents: “We’ll Have Everything We Need”

British contender Hamzah Sheeraz has shared the names of the fighters he would most like to face in the super middleweight division — the weight class where he made his debut earlier this year, stopping Edgar Berlanga by knockout.

“I know what’s ahead of me – I just need to keep delivering good performances. I’ll most likely return in February. There are plenty of options: I could fight in the UK again, or in the US, or Saudi Arabia. Once I get a contract and we agree on the terms – I’m in.

Christian Mbilli is a great fighter – an interim champion, a puncher – we have everything needed for a fan-friendly fight. I’m also really looking forward to Jaime Munguia. These guys are all on the same level — strong and experienced.

At this stage I just need to stay sharp, keep learning, and give the fans what they want to see,” Sheeraz said.

Sheeraz (22-0-1, 18 KOs) has not fought since July 2025.
