Sandor Martin defeats Yanis Kurylenko

In the early hours of December 21 in Bilbao, Spain, 32-year-old Spaniard Sandor Martin (43-4, 15 KOs) faced 30-year-old Ukrainian Yanis Kurylenko (14-2, 8 KOs).

The fight ended with a unanimous decision in Martin’s favour. The judges scored it 79–73, 78–74 and 80–72 for the Spaniard.

In March, Sandor Martin lost to Alberto Puello by split decision. In June, Yanis Kurylenko defeated Andriy Boryshpolets by majority decision. This is the second defeat of the Ukrainian’s career — the last time Yanis lost was in December 2020 against Vasyl Chebotar.
