Parker Ready for Itauma This Winter

Interim WBO Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker says he would be ready to face Moses Itauma this winter — provided his upcoming fight with Fabio Wardley goes well.

“Fighting once a year just isn’t enough. I want to be as active as possible, and if everything goes well with Wardley, get me back in the ring at the end of the year. I’d love to face Itauma. I’ll take any fight that’s available.

I think Moses is a huge talent. He can only fight whoever they put in front of him, and he’s done exactly what he should every time. He’s young, strong, and fast.

I’ll fight anyone and everyone. Listen, he’s a big threat — a very talented young fighter who’s been dominating everyone. That’s why, of course, people are asking for big money. But if it’s possible, it’ll happen,” said Parker.

Parker (36-3, 24 KOs) will face Fabio Wardley on October 25, with the WBA Interim title on the line.

Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) is expected to return to the ring in December 2025.
