What Does Parker Think of Usyk’s Dancing? Joseph Has an Answer

WBO Interim Heavyweight champion Joseph Parker spoke about Oleksandr Usyk’s injury and gave his take on the viral video of his potential opponent dancing.

– What do you think of his dance moves? Are you better on the dance floor than him?

– His dance moves are pretty good. He’s injured right now, right? He’s injured, but when I watch that video, he’s using his upper and lower body, and his back is hardly moving. So there’s no pressure on it.

– So do you think it’s a believable excuse? Do you believe he’s injured?

– He says he’s injured. We can only believe what they say, that’s it. We just give him time to recover and spend time with his family, and when he comes back, we’ll see him again.

– Don’t you think maybe your style is one he doesn’t want to deal with?

– I can cause problems for anyone in the Heavyweight division. I believe what we’re working on can cause problems for everyone, and I can dominate and beat anyone. Our goal is to become undisputed champion of the world, and we’re just taking the steps to get there. The next step is Fabio Wardley and so on, but right now we just need to focus on what’s ahead, said Parker.

Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs) will face Fabio Wardley (19-0-1, 18 KOs) on October 25 at the O2 Arena in London. Oleksandr Usyk has been ordered to fight the winner.
