American boxer Ryan Garcia shared his thoughts on a potential rematch with WBO welterweight champion Devin Haney. According to Ryan, a second fight with Haney is “inevitable,” stressing that another showdown with his fellow American could become one of the “greatest rematches in history.”

“It can’t be any other way. This is one of the biggest rematches ever. We shocked the world, people were stunned by the whole spectacle, and the fight itself was entertaining too: he goes down, gets back up again. It was just a crazy, chaotic atmosphere.

People want to see it again. And I think it’s inevitable — no matter how our careers play out, just like with Joshua and Fury, it’s inevitable, it’s going to happen sooner or later. And nobody cares who won or lost. There’s just bad blood here — let’s do it, let’s run it back. I don’t like you, you don’t like me — let’s meet again and go,” Garcia said in an interview with Covers.

The fight between Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KOs) and Devin Haney (33-0, 15 KOs) took place in April 2024 and ended with Ryan winning by decision. However, it later emerged that Garcia failed a doping test, so the result was overturned, and the boxer received a one-year suspension.
