Oleksandr Usyk Names the Current P4P Leader

WBA, WBC, WBO and IBO Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has named who he believes is the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world right now.

“I think Crawford is No. 1 in the P4P rankings today. That’s my opinion. Did anything surprise me in Crawford’s fight with Canelo? It didn’t surprise me — I’d already said that, for me, it was a fight with equal chances. But my prediction was a Crawford win,” Usyk said.

Recall that in September, Terence Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) defeated Canelo Alvarez by unanimous decision in a bout for the Undisputed Super Middleweight championship.

Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) last fought in July, when he knocked out Daniel Dubois in their rematch and became an Undisputed champion for the third time.
