Okolie and Yoka Get Opponents for the Nigeria Tournament



The matchups for the tournament taking place on December 21 in Lagos, Nigeria, have been announced. Previously, only the main participants were named, but now they have received their opponents.

Former two-division world champion, the Briton Lawrence Okolie (22-1, 16 KOs), will face Ghana’s Ebenezer Tetteh (23-3, 20 KOs). This will be the main event of the evening.

The 2016 Olympic champion Tony Yoka (14-3, 11 KOs) will box on the undercard. His opponent will be Patrick Korte (23-5-1, 19 KOs). Yoka previously called out Joe Joyce for a fight.

It was also reported during the tournament announcement that David Adeleye would fight as part of the event. However, as of now, there is no information about his participation in the tournament.
