Official Jaime Munguia and John Ryder will face off on January 27th

The DAZN platform has announced that the bout between Jaime Munguia (42-0, 33 KOs) and John Ryder (31-6, 17 KOs) will take place at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2023, the Mexican Munguia had only one fight against Ukrainian Sergey Derevyanchenko, winning by unanimous decision in a highly competitive encounter. Ryder also had one bout, losing to Saul Alvarez by unanimous decision in May.
It was previously reported that Munguia is a contender for a fight against Canelo if he wins and puts on a good performance against Ryder.
