WBC Light Heavyweight champion David Benavidez has named undisputed Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk as the best boxer in the world, pound-for-pound.

“I believe Usyk is definitely number one. I don’t think anyone even comes close to him, considering how many big fights he has had one after another.

Even back in his Cruiserweight days, he fought only the best, and when he moved up to Heavyweight, not many people believed in him — but he went out there and beat everyone,” said Benavidez.

In July, Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) knocked out Daniel Dubois in the fifth round to reclaim his undisputed status for the third time.

On November 22, David Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs) will defend his title against Anthony Yarde at the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
