Netflix Announced a Documentary Film About Canelo

The streaming service Netflix has announced that it will release a feature-length documentary film about the Mexican champion in four weight categories, Saul Alvarez.

The company Unanimous Media will serve as the producer of the documentary, the story of which will be focused on the trilogy of Alvarez with Gennadiy Golovkin.

The film will be directed by Juan Camilo Cruz. The release date will be announced later.

Canelo (63-3-2, 39 KOs) and Gennadiy Golovkin (42-2-1, 37 KOs) met in the ring three times: in 2017, their bout ended in a draw, and in 2018 and 2022, Alvarez was victorious.
