MVP Asked About a Usyk–Jake Paul Title Fight. Lapin Responded

Most Valuable Promotions, the promotional company of American Heavyweight influencer-boxer Jake Paul, posted the following question to followers on social media:

“If Jake beats Anthony Joshua, should he get a title shot?”

The graphic featured Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul, and Oleksandr Usyk — meaning the question was specifically about a potential fight with the Ukrainian. Usyk, the former undisputed champion, currently holds the WBC, WBA, and IBF titles. The WBO belt, after Oleksandr vacated it, went to Fabio Wardley.

Usyk’s team CEO Serhii Lapin reacted in the comments under the same post:

“What are you smoking?” wrote Lapin.

The Joshua vs Paul fight will take place on December 19 in Miami, USA. It will be an official bout, and the result will count on both fighters’ records.
