Mosley and Roy Jones Consider Crawford Stronger Than Mayweather. Oscar Disagrees

Floyd Mayweather, Terence Crawford

Former world champions Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, and Roy Jones expressed their opinions on whether three-time undisputed champion Terence Crawford is stronger than Floyd Mayweather.

I rank Terence higher because he tested himself. Floyd never tested himself,” believes Roy Jones.

I think Crawford is better. I would say that Crawford is better than all boxers around. Mayweather — is really good. You can't hit him. But I believe that Crawford would have the advantage due to longer arms, and he is bigger. It would be hard for Floyd to counterattack such a fighter,” says Shane Mosley.

However, Oscar De La Hoya disagrees with the previous statements:

Mayweather has the advantage over Crawford. I feel that Floyd is technically much stronger than Terence,” says Oscar.

De La Hoya and Mosley faced Mayweather — both lost by judges' decisions. Crawford himself, even before announcing his retirement, stated that the only boxer with whom he would have problems is Floyd. Terence explained this by Mayweather’s thinking.
