Former multi-division world champion Floyd Mayweather placed a bet on the outcome of the fight between Mexican Saul Alvarez and American Terence Crawford.

Mayweather wagered $50,000 on Crawford’s victory, earning a total payout of $124,000. His net profit came to $74,000.

On the night of September 14, Terence Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) defeated Canelo Alvarez (63-3-2, 39 KOs) by unanimous decision to become the first fighter in the four-belt era to achieve undisputed champion status in three different weight divisions.
