Official: Mario Barrios and Ryan Garcia to fight on February 21

An official announcement has been made for the fight between 30-year-old WBC welterweight champion (up to 66.7 kg) Mario Barrios and 27-year-old Ryan Garcia.

The Americans will meet on February 21 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA. The bout will be broadcast on the DAZN streaming platform on pay-per-view.

In July, Mario Barrios (29-2-2, 18 KOs) fought to a draw against Manny Pacquiao, which allowed him to retain his title.

Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KOs) last fought in May against Rolando Romero, losing by unanimous decision after being knocked down in the second round.
