Egis Klimas, manager of former three-division world champion Vasyl Lomachenko, has responded to reports suggesting his fighter could face Manny Pacquiao.
“We’re not interested — whether it’s a real fight or an exhibition. Vasyl has retired and is focused on other things now,” Klimas said.
He acknowledged receiving several calls about a possible matchup with Pacquiao, but clarified that none of them came directly from the Filipino’s team.
In July, Manny Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs) returned to the ring after a four-year layoff, fighting to a draw with Mario Barrios.
In May 2024, Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) defeated George Kambosos by 11th-round technical knockout to capture the IBF Lightweight title. In 2025, the Ukrainian officially announced his retirement from boxing.
