British Champion Calls Out Benn: “My name wasn’t even mentioned”

Conor Benn / Mark Robinson, Matchroom Boxing

IBF Welterweight world champion Lewis Crocker is calling on Conor Benn to fight for the title. After defeating Chris Eubank Jr. in their rematch, Benn stated he was ready to face Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, Rolando Romero, Mario Barrios, and hinted that he would likely return to the Welterweight division.

“How the hell was my name not even mentioned after the fight? I’m one of only two world champions from the UK, and the only world champion at Welterweight. And they mention Barrios. They don’t even talk about me as a Matchroom Boxing fighter?

Let’s make it happen. British fans deserve this fight,” Crocker said.

Conor Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) defeated Chris Eubank Jr. by decision in the rematch and said it was the final chapter of their rivalry.

Lewis Crocker (22-0, 11 KOs) fought Paddy Donovan twice in 2025 — and won both times.
