Lamont Roach Could Face Isaac Cruz

According to ESPN insider Salvador Rodriguez, WBA Super Featherweight Champion Lamont Roach could next face interim WBC Super Lightweight Champion Isaac Cruz.

“I’ve been told there’s strong interest in seeing Cruz and Lamont Roach fight in December. Hopefully these two, who have both been puzzles for Gervonta Davis, can come to terms,” Rodriguez wrote.

Lamont Roach (25-1-2, 10 KOs) was originally set to face Gervonta Davis, but the fight fell through, with Davis instead scheduled to meet Jake Paul.

Isaac Cruz (28-3-1, 18 KOs) last fought in July, defeating Omar Salcido by unanimous decision.
