Katie Taylor Could Face Ronda Rousey

According to BoxingScene, undisputed Junior Welterweight world champion Katie Taylor could fight former UFC champion Ronda Rousey in the summer of 2026.

Netflix could serve as the broadcaster for the bout. Previously, the streaming service aired Katie Taylor’s fights against Amanda Serrano.

Rousey has not competed in the octagon since December 2016. She lost to Amanda Nunes then, after which she fully switched to wrestling.

Taylor (25-1, 6 KO) won the trilogy against Serrano — she won each fight. After the last bout, her promoter Eddie Hearn said:

“For the first time I heard from Katie not ‘when I’ll be back,’ but ‘if.’”
