Joshua Wants to Fight Fury Without Tune-Up Bouts — Hearn

Former Heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua is ready to immediately step into a duel against Tyson Fury, without any interim fights. This was reported by the Briton's promoter and head of Matchroom Boxing Eddie Hearn.

According to Hearn, if Fury agrees to this confrontation, Joshua’s team will not consider options with “warm-up” bouts and will prefer an immediate fight.

On December 19, Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs) defeated Jake Paul by knockout in the sixth round, breaking his opponent's jaw in two places.

In 2024, Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk, after which he announced his retirement. However, the former world champion has repeatedly hinted at his return. One of the most likely opponents for the Briton is considered to be Joshua.
