Joshua’s Return in Doubt Again — Hearn Names a New Timeframe

Promoter Eddie Hearn has spoken about the possibility that former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua could be nearing the end of his career. Hearn also outlined when Joshua might be back in the ring.

“We started with him and we’ll finish with him — and the end is close, though not quite yet. He’ll fight in December, and if it’s Jake Paul, then maybe January or February — we’ll see,” Hearn said.

Anthony Joshua (28‑4, 25 KOs) last fought in September 2024, when Daniel Dubois stopped him in the fifth round. Joshua underwent elbow surgery in May, with an initial comeback penciled in for September–October, then shifted to November–December.
