Joseph Parker, the WBO interim Heavyweight champion, has revealed the toughest fighter he has faced in his professional career.
“I’d say Chisora was the strongest. He constantly applies pressure and gives you no rest.
All those short shots to the body and head may not look dangerous, but each one hurts, and over time it builds up. He’s a real nightmare both in and out of the ring,” said Parker.
The first fight between Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs) and Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) took place in May 2021. Parker was knocked down in the opening round but went on to win by split decision. In their December rematch later that year, Parker prevailed via unanimous decision.
On October 25, Parker will face Fabio Wardley, the interim WBA Heavyweight champion, at the O2 Arena in London. Broadcast details can be found via the provided link.
