Jake on a Fight With Canelo: “Turki Has Already Shown Interest”

Influencer and boxer Jake Paul has spoken about the possibility of facing former undisputed Super Middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Álvarez.

“I think Turki is the guy who can make this fight happen. I’m open to it, Turki has already expressed some interest, and obviously Canelo has already signed a contract to fight me before, so all that’s left is to make it happen,” Paul said.

In September, Canelo (62-3-2, 39 KOs) lost to Terence Crawford by unanimous decision and surrendered his titles.

On November 14, Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) was scheduled to hold an exhibition bout against WBA Lightweight champion Gervonta Davis, but Davis was accused of assaulting his former girlfriend. A replacement opponent is currently being sought.
