Influencer and heavyweight boxer Jake Paul has named the boxer he isn’t interested in fighting — WBC light heavyweight champion David Benavidez.
“There’s a very short list of people I wouldn’t step in the ring with, and Benavidez is on that list. That guy is different. His power, his speed, his cardio, his nonstop punches and insane pressure. Your punches mean nothing to him. He’s got huge forearms that go from the bottom of his hip all the way to the top of his head. You can’t break through his defense.
You can hit him as much as you want, but it doesn’t affect him. Some people are just built different, and Benavidez is one of them,” Jake said.
On December 19 in Miami, USA, Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) will box an 8-round heavyweight bout against Anthony Joshua.
On November 22, David Benavidez (31-0, 25 KOs) stopped Anthony Yarde by seventh-round TKO.
