Inoue Outclasses Akhmadaliev

On September 14 in Nagoya, Japan, undisputed Super Bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue (31-0, 27 KOs), age 32, faced 30-year-old Uzbek Murodjon Akhmadaliev (14-2, 11 KOs).

Inoue earned a clear unanimous decision victory with scorecards of 117-111 and 118-110 twice.

This marked Inoue’s first non-stoppage win since 2019, when Nonito Donaire went the distance with him. For Akhmadaliev, it was his first loss since 2023.
