Inoue Doesn't Rule Out Changing Weight Class: Where the Japanese Star Might Move

Naoya Inoue / Matchroom Boxing

Undisputed Super Bantamweight world champion Naoya Inoue has spoken about the possibility of moving up in weight again. However, he noted that such a move would require consultation with his team.

“The super bantamweight division isn't too difficult, so I can fight here for as long as I want.

But we will still discuss with my team whether I should move up to featherweight. We will make a decision later.

No, I am not considering a move to super featherweight,” Inoue said.

Inoue (31-0, 27 KOs) will have his next fight against David Picasso (32-0-1, 17 KOs) on December 27 at "The Ring V: Night of the Samurai" tournament in Riyadh. We previously shared where to watch the tournament at this link.
