Oleksandr Gvozdyk Denies Validity of Fight Against Ramirez

Former WBC Light Heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk has denied information regarding a bout against Venezuelan Albert Ramirez (22-0, 19 KOs) for the interim WBA belt.

“This is incorrect information. Big news will come this week. I am not saying anything concrete yet. There will be an official announcement. Just wait a little,” said Gvozdyk.

The last time Gvozdyk (21-2, 17 KOs) entered the ring was in the spring of 2025, when he made his debut in the Cruiserweight division, knocking out Anthony Holloway in the 3rd round.
