Frank Warren: “Chisora Has a Contract with Queensberry Promotions”

Promoter Frank Warren has refuted the words of British Heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora regarding the expiration of his contract with Queensberry Promotions.

– Reports have surfaced about a fight between Chisora and Deontay Wilder. I don’t think that has anything to do with you, does it, Frank?

– Well, he (Derek Chisora — editor's note) has a contract with us, said Warren.

– Oh, so it does involve you. Okay. There are rumors that it will be on Sky, etc.

– We deal with facts, and the facts are that he has a contract with us.

– Fine. Understood. So you will be involved in Chisora’s 50th fight?

– He has a contract with us, Warren said.

As a reminder, Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) may hold his 50th and likely final fight in April against the American former undisputed world champion Deontay Wilder.
