Haney on Hearn: “Like a bitter ex-girlfriend”

WBO Welterweight champion American Devin Haney spoke about his relationship with Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn. They worked together previously, but now Eddie represents the interests of one of the loudest challengers to Haney — Conor Benn.

“To me, Eddie Hearn is like a bitter ex-girlfriend. Every chance he gets, he says bad things about me. I hear everything he says.

Eddie Hearn can’t stop mentioning my name. He hates every opportunity that comes my way,” said Haney.

In his previous fight, Haney defeated Brian Norman and became a champion in a third weight class. Later, Norman said he was ready to face him, and Hearn said that while boxing, Devin was afraid of himself.
