Chisora on Usyk: “I Spoke to Him. I Could See He’s Not in Shape”

British heavyweight Derek Chisora says he recently spoke with Oleksandr Usyk and came away convinced the undisputed champion is unlikely to fight before summer.

“Usyk is going to wait. I think he’ll fight in the summer. I talked to him on FaceTime — I saw he wasn’t in shape. We’ll see Usyk in the summer.

On October 25, Fabio Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KO) knocked out Joseph Parker (36-4, 24 KO) in the 11th round. Wardley is currently considered the leading candidate to fight Usyk.
