David Haye names the strongest opponent of his career

Former world champion David Haye has named the strongest opponent he ever shared the ring with.

“Definitely [Derek] Chisora, he was very strong, and it took a big effort in training camp to get myself physically in the right place to walk Derek Chisora back. That, for me, was very important in that fight,” Haye told The Ring’s “Best I Faced” feature.

The bout between David Haye and Dereck Chisora took place in July 2012 and ended with Haye winning by fifth-round technical knockout.
